Please read the following Terms of Service (this “Agreement” OR “ToS”) carefully before signing up, login in or using the various services provided on the www.dreamitfoundation.org website (the “Site”) so that you are aware of your legal rights and obligations with respect to the Site or DreamIt Foundation Corp. (the “Foundation”) and any of its affiliates, parents and subsidiaries (individually and collectively, "we," "us," “our” or "DIF").
YOU AFFIRM THAT YOU ARE EITHER AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, AN EMANCIPATED MINOR, OR POSSESS LEGAL PARENTAL OR GUARDIAN CONSENT, AND ARE FULLY ABLE AND COMPETENT TO ENTER INTO THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, OBLIGATIONS, AFFIRMATIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES SET FORTH IN THESE TOS, AND TO ABIDE BY AND COMPLY WITH THESE TOS.
SOME FUNCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH AUTHORIZATION, AUTHENTICATION AND USAGE OF THE SITE ARE PERFORMED USING FACEBOOK API AND PAYPAL API. THE ABOVE NOT WITHSTANDING, THE SITE IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH FACEBOOK OR PAYPAL.
BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO RECEIVE FREE CONTENT AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS FROM US.
OUR BUSINESS CHANGES CONSTANTLY, AS DO OUR POLICIES, RULES AND REGULATIONS POSTED ON THE SITE, INCLUDING THIS AGREEMENT. IT IS YOUR EXPRESSED OBLIGATION TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY RECENT CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REVISE THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PROVIDING NOTICE. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE SITE SHALL BE DEEMED AN IRREVOCABLE ACCEPTANCE OF ANY SUCH REVISIONS.
YOUR ACCESS TO THE SITE AND THE USAGE OF ANY SERVICE IS VOID AND UNAUTHORIZED WHERE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION.
THE FOUNDATION IS A NONPROFIT, CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION UNDER SECTION 501 (C)(3) OF THE IRS CODE, AND IS INCORPORATED AND REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA.

Description of the Site: The Site enables the general public (“you” or “User”) to learn about, interact with, provide support to and promote awareness of terminally ill individuals (“Dreamers”) and their dreams (“Dreams”). Users actions on and through the Site helps direct the Foundation’s efforts in helping the Dreamers achieve their Dreams. Users are encouraged to express their support for the Dreamers and their Dreams using various social media tools and services provided on the Site. Users are also provided with an opportunity to donate to the Foundation’s efforts. All activities and capabilities offered by or through the Site to Users shall individually and collectively be referred to as “Services”.
Users may, where and if available, submit any photograph(s), video(s), image(s), email, text, and/or comment(s) or other content to and through the Site using Facebook API (“Submissions”).
“Users” shall be defined as any individual, group, business other user or visitor of the Site.
DIF reserves the right to add, change, modify, suspend or discontinue any portion of the Site or any of its Services at any time. DIF may also impose limits on certain Services or features and/or restrict User access to parts of the Site or to the entire Site in our sole and absolute discretion and without notice or liability to anyone.
Eligibility: You affirm that you are either at least 18 years of age, an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these ToS, and to abide by and comply with these ToS.
Services: The Site shall now and in the future provide a variety of different Services. Each Service may be subject to its own rules and each may be changed in whole or in part by DIF at any time in its sole and absolute discretion. Such Services may include:
Help the Foundation Direct its Resources: The Site enables its Users to help direct and focus the Foundations resources on the Dreamers’s Dreams. Through the utilization of various social media tools (including but not limited to Facebook “Like”), Users express their support for Dreamers and their Dreams. The Foundation keeps track of such social media actions and incorporates those expressions of support into its decision-making. The above not withstanding, the Foundation retains complete control over the use and distribution of its resources, including donations made through the Site, in furtherance of its mission.
Communication of Support: The Site provides its Users with tools, using Facebook API, to help communicate expressions of support to the Dreamers.
Contribute and Donate to Dreamers’s Dreams: The Site enables its Users to donate funds in support of the Foundation’s mission and the Children’s Dreams. Donations are processed using PayPal API. The above not withstanding, the Foundation retains complete control over the use and distribution of all donations made through the Site in furtherance of its mission.
The Foundation is in the process of filing for a status as a nonprofit, charitable organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code, and is incorporated and registered in California.
Facebook Authorization: In order to use some features on the Site including the Services, you will be required to authorize and authenticate all actions using your Facebook account. You may never use our Services through someone else’s Facebook account. You may also never grant anyone else access to our Services using your Facebook account.
License to Use the Site. As a User of the Site, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited license to access and use the Site and its associated content and features, including the Services, in accordance with this Agreement. We retain the right to terminate this license, without notice, in our sole and absolute discretion, at any time for any reason whatsoever. We also reserve any rights not explicitly granted in this Agreement.
Term/Termination: We may decide at any time in our sole and absolute discretion whether to remove or terminate your access to the Site or our Services, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of this Agreement. We may or may not provide notice to you of such termination through any reasonable means. Such termination is effective when executed by us or upon transmittal by us. However, your obligations of indemnification pursuant to this Agreement shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
Withdrawal of consent or request to de-authorize your Facebook account’s access will have no effect on the legal validity or enforceability of this Agreement for the time period prior to your request and during the time period needed for us to reasonably act to comply with your request.
Proprietary Rights of Content:
Your Use of Content Generated by Other Users on Site: The Site provides Users with the ability to make Submissions using Facebook API. The information listed, uploaded, posted or made available by Users is of the respective Users and not of DIF and should not necessarily be relied upon. Such Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of such content. DIF does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information made available by Users and neither adopts, endorses, nor is responsible for the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement made on or through the Site. Users understand and agree that DIF will not be responsible for, and Users hereby agree to hold DIF harmless from, any and all loss or damage resulting from anyone's reliance on information or other content posted on or through the Site by other Users. You may access such information solely:
Use of Content Generated BY DIF: The content on the Site, including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the like (the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein (the “Marks”), are owned by or licensed to DIF, its Users or business partners, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. The copying, redistribution or publication by you of any part of the Site is strictly prohibited. You do not acquire ownership rights to any Content, Marks, Services or other materials viewed at, on or through the Site. The posting of information or material at or on the Site by DIF does not constitute a waiver of any right in such information and materials.
Submissions and Comments. This section governs the Submission of any photograph(s), video(s), image(s), text and/or comment(s) or other content to or through the Site by any User. As a feature of the Site and using the Facebook API, you may be permitted to submit or post video, photographic and textual content or comments (“Submission(s)”). You agree that whether published or not, DIF does not guarantee the confidentiality of these Submissions. DIF does not condone or tolerate the Submission of illegal or inappropriate content. By posting your Submissions, or attempting to post your Submissions, you hereby agree, and are fully subject, to these content terms ("Content Terms") in addition to any terms applicable when using Facebook authorization. These Content Terms govern each and every Submission that you post to or through the Site. In consideration for posting your Submissions to the Site, you represent, warrant and agree that:
You are eighteen (18) years of age or older, an emancipated minor, or possess the necessary legal parental or guardian consent to enter into these ToS;
You are the individual identified in the Submissions or, if the Submissions identify other individuals, that you have previously obtained from the individuals identified or their authorized representatives the written permission and consent for such use, publication and display. You further agree that you will provide DIF with a copy of such written permission and consent upon request. Submissions which identify or contain photographs or images of third parties does not create any type of agreement whatsoever between DIF and said third parties as there are no third party beneficiaries to these ToS or to the Privacy Policy;
The Submissions do not contain obscene material, as defined under any US or International Law, including, without limitation, violence, other illegal activities or contraband;
You have full rights to use and dispose of any intellectual properties and assets including, without limitation, any and all copyrights associated with the Submissions;
No other party has any rights, including intellectual property rights, to the Submissions;
You hereby grant DIF, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and assigns a non-exclusive, unlimited, worldwide, fully paid, irrevocable license to copyright, edit, copy, use, destroy and publish the Submissions as permitted by these ToS and our Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise prohibited by Facebook terms, this license shall permit and include the usage of Submissions in any advertisements in any media or form in perpetuity. This section shall survive any termination of the Agreement.
DIF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, choose to remove any Submissions for any reason or no reason whatsoever;
DIF may include or add editorial copy or other writings or graphics to the Submissions;
You are subject to any other guidelines and rules and regulations that may appear at the Site and on Facebook; and
Neither you nor anyone else will receive, either now or in the future, any compensation from anyone for the Submissions.
Online Conduct: You are solely responsible for Submissions and other information that you publish, transmit or post on or though the Site. You agree to use the Site in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations as they now exist or may herein after be promulgated in the U.S. and worldwide. In addition to any terms applicable when using Facebook authorization, you agree not to:
post, or attempt to post, any text, audio, photographs, videos or other images containing offensive or confidential information;
impersonate any person or entity;
"stalk" or otherwise harass any person or other User on or through the Site;
engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other Users to utilize services substantially similar to those offered on the Site;
transmit any chain letters, spam or junk e-mail to other Users;
express or imply, without our specific, prior, written consent that any statements you make are endorsed by DIF;
harvest or collect personal information about Users, whether or not for commercial purposes, without their express consent;
use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device or process to retrieve, index, "data mine," or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site or its contents;
post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of DIF or the owner of such proprietary rights;
to access Submissions or the Site through any technology or means other than through the means provided on the Site, Facebook or other explicitly authorized means DIF may designate;
remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained on the Site;
interfere with or disrupt the Site or the servers or networks connected to the Site;
post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any information transmitted through the Site;
"frame" or "mirror" any part of the Site, without our specific, prior written authorization;
use metatags, code or other devices containing any reference to DIF or the Site in order to direct any person to any other website for any purpose;
modify, adapt, sublicense, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decipher, decompile or otherwise disassemble any portion of the Site or any software used on or for the Site or cause others to do so; and
to use the Site, including any tools or technologies made available therein, for any commercial purpose not specifically permitted by the Site without the prior written consent of DIF.
No part of the Site or Services may be reproduced in any form or incorporated into any information retrieval system, electronic or mechanical. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or transfer the Site, Services or any portion thereof. You may not use any device, software or routine to interfere, or attempt to interfere, with the proper functioning of the Site or Services. You may not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Site’ infrastructure.
Engaging in any of the aforementioned prohibited practices shall be deemed a breach of these ToS. DIF reserves the right to pursue any and all legal remedies against Users who engage in any of the aforementioned prohibited conduct.
DIF ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONDUCT OF USERS.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any Submissions or other Content infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) by providing our Copyright Agent (defined below) with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) for more detail):
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at the Site;
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted;
A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with all of the requirements of this section, your DMCA notice may not be valid.
Counter-Notice. If you believe that the Content or Submissions that were removed (or to which access has been disabled) were not infringing or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to law, to post and use the content in your Submissions, you may send a counter-notice containing the following information to the Copyright Agent:
Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the Content or Submissions that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the Content or Submissions appeared before it was removed or disabled;
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the Content or Submissions was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification;
Your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address;
a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in San Diego County, California.
a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
Privacy: Your privacy is very important to us. To better protect your rights, we have provided you with our Privacy Policy. To read our Privacy Policy, please use the link provided on the Site’s homepage.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, parent companies, agents, co-branders or other partners and employees (each a "Covered Party") harmless, at your expense, against any and all claims, actions, proceedings and suits and all related liabilities, damages, settlements, penalties, fines, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees and other dispute resolution expenses) incurred by any Covered Party or other third party and arising out of, (i) your use or misuse of the Site or the Services, (ii) arising from your breach of this Agreement, or (iii) arising from your violation or breach of any term of this Agreement or other policies, rules or guidelines referenced herein.
Warranties: You expressly agree that access and use of the Site and Services is at your sole risk. The Site is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any express or implied warranty of any kind, including, but not limited, non-infringement of intellectual property. The Site may contain bugs, errors, problems or other limitations.
We and the Covered Parties have no liability whatsoever for your use of, or inability to use, the Site to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We and the Covered Parties are not liable to you or to any third party for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, whether based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The negation of damages set forth above is a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain between you and us. The Site and its Services would not be provided to you without such limitations. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from us through the Site shall create any warranty, representation or guarantee not expressly stated in this Agreement. We are not responsible to you or any third party, without limitation, for: 1) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of, communications; 2) the conduct of any person, whether online or offline; 3) any computer virus or other malicious, destructive or corrupting code, agent, program or macros; 4) any infringement of another's rights, including intellectual property rights; or 5) any violation, intended or otherwise, of applicable Law.
You agree that DIF is not the publisher of any Submissions, as define above, found on the Site or Facebook and, as such, shall not be liable for damages arising there from including, without limitation, any and all criminal and/or civil liability.
DIF shall not be liable to you for any services, goods and/or information available from third parties, even if obtained at or through the Site. If you are dissatisfied with the Site or with this Agreement, your sole and exclusive remedy is to cancel your authorization of your Facebook account and to discontinue use of the Site.
Third-party Websites: The Site may contain links to other websites owned and operated by DIF, as well as links, banner advertisements, pop-ups and/or other online methods to redirect you to other third party websites not owned or controlled by DIF. DIF has no control over, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party site. By using the Site, you expressly relieve DIF from any and all liability arising from your use of any third party website. Furthermore, DIF does not endorse, and is not responsible or liable for, any content, advertising, services, products or other materials at or available through such third party websites or resources, or for any damages or losses arising there from.
Accordingly, you are encouraged to be aware when you leave the Site and to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of each other website that you visit.
Miscellaneous: Should any part of this Agreement be held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed consistent with applicable Law and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. To the extent that anything in, or associated with, the Site is in conflict or inconsistent with this Agreement, this Agreement shall take precedence. Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision nor of the right to enforce such provision, or any other provisions in this Agreement.
You expressly authorize us to comply with any and all lawful notices, subpoenas, court orders or warrants without prior notice to you.
Dispute Resolution: If a dispute arises between you and us, our goal is to provide you with a neutral and cost effective means of resolving the dispute quickly. We strongly encourage you to first contact us directly to seek a resolution by sending an email to info@dreamitfoundation.org. We will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation.
The term “Claim” shall refer to any claim or controversy at law or equity that arises out of this Agreement or Services.
Choice of Law and Forum - This Agreement shall be treated as though it were executed and performed in San Diego County, California and shall be governed in all respects by the laws of San Diego County, California without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that a court located in San Diego County, California must resolve any Claim or dispute you may have against us. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within San Diego County, California for the purpose of litigating all such Claims or disputes.

What information does the Site collect?
Visitor Activity. Visitors to the Site may choose to browse, search and examine any information made available without authorizing or authenticating their Facebook account with the Site. When you visit our Site as a Visitor, we collect only information you provide or submit to the Site directly, information you send to us by email, information and messages you send or post through our accounts on third party social networks (such as Facebook, YouTube or Twitter), information or messages you send through any Service we may provide. The foregoing statement not withstanding, our servers may recognize and collect Visitors’ domain names, IP addresses and any information on pages visited.
Facebook Account Authorization. In order to have access to some of our Services, including making Submissions, a User may be required to authorize their Facebook account. When authorizing your Facebook account, we may receive from Facebook information as delineated in their terms and privacy policy. Please review Facebook’s policies (http://www.facebook.com/policies/) regarding information collected and shared using their API. After your initial authorization of your Facebook account, we may also request additional information, using a Facebook application or form as well as collect a variety of information and PII depending on the Services you use or engage in.
Content Submitted to or through the Site.< The Site enables Users to make Submissions through the Site utilizing Facebook API. Any PII or Submissions that you voluntarily disclose on or through the Site is collected by us. This may include, but is not limited to:
- PII submitted as part of a User’s utilization of various social media tools (including but not limited to Facebook “Like”). Using these tools, Users express their support for Dreamers and their Dreams. The Foundation keeps track of such social media actions and incorporates those expressions of support into its decision-making. This may include information on Dreamers or Dreams you “Like”, as well as comments posted.
- PII submitted as part of a User’s communications and expressions of support to the Dreamers using Facebook API.
- PII submitted as part of donation made by Users in support of the Foundation’s mission and the Dreamers’s Dreams. Donations are processed using PayPal API. The above not withstanding, the Site does not collect or store any personal credit card information.
Usage Information. We may collect information about your usage, such as when you use the Site, the information you review, the frequency and size of data transfers, as well as information you display or click on in the Site. If you are recognized and authenticated by your Facebook account we may associate this information with you.
Click-Through URLs. In some of our messages we may use a “click-through URL” linked to content on the Site. When Users click one of these URLs, they pass through our web server before arriving at the destination web page. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our communications.
- How do we use the information you provide us? We use PII such as your name, address, and e-mail address in order to provide you with the Services. Except as specifically provided herein, DIF does not sell or rent your PII information to other marketers. All information that you submit to us is governed by this Privacy Policy as well a Facebook’s applicable policies.
Any PII collected as a result of communications enabled through our Site (including Facebook API), are used to enable Services and features. For example, information collected when you “Like” the Dreamers or their Dreams is incorporated into the Foundation’s decision-making and resource allocation.
We may share information collected including your PII with our agents, representatives, contractors and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as authorization of credit card, e-mail origination, support services and user relationship management services.
Unless you opt-out, we may use your PII provided through your Facebook account authorization as well as any e-mail, phone number or other PII your Submit to the Site to communicate commercial, marketing or donation solicitation messages without your further consent. Be advised that we use your contact information provided by you without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes.
We may share marketing data analysis, including User activity, with our advertisers and partners.
You may opt-out at any time by changing your preferences as provided on your Facebook account. Also, with regards to any information otherwise provide to the Site, you can send a request to info@dreamitfoundation.org.
We use both your PII and certain non-PII (such as anonymous User data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, click stream data, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the Site and to create new features, promotions, functionality and services by storing, tracking, analyzing and processing User preferences and trends, as well as User activity and communications.
We use information collected during your Facebook account authorization as well as at later times using applications, to send any information requested as well as additional information about our the Foundation, Site and our Services. Further, the information collected, including any demographics, is used to learn more about the types of people who visit our Site and improve the Foundation’s operations and Services provided.
If any financial information is collected it will be used to bill you for Services offered on or through the Site, such as making donations. If you used a credit card on the Site, your credit card information may be subject to verification by the issuing credit card company or other third party company. Unless you give us permission at the time such information is collected, this information will not be used for any purpose except for the fulfillment and record keeping of current and future transactions.
In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, we may choose various third party web sites to link to, or frame within the Site. We also may participate in co-branding and other relationships to offer other services and features to our Users. However, even if the third party is affiliated with us, we have no control over these linked sites, each of which has separate privacy and data collection practices independent of us. We encourage you to read the policies of these third party websites. Data collected by third party websites (even if offered on or through our Site) may not be received by us. As such, we have no responsibility or liability for the independent policies or actions of third parties, and are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any such web sites. These linked sites are only for your convenience and you therefore access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of the Services and the links placed upon each of them and therefore request any feedback on sites we link to as well. Further, any linking with any other web site is neither an endorsement of that site nor any of the services that may be offered on that site.
Information that is Publicly Available. Any Submission that you provide through the Site to Facebook may be redistributed, in accordance with Facebook’s policies, through the Internet or other media channels and may be viewed by the general public.
Note: Your PII or financial information may be passed on to a third party in the event of a transfer of ownership or assets of DIF or a bankruptcy. We may also disclose PII or financial information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, to cooperate with law enforcement or to protect the interests or safety of DIF or other visitors to the Site. Whenever PII or financial information is disclosed under this paragraph, we may also disclose your demographic information on a non-anonymous basis.
How does DIF Protect Users Personal Information? We implement a variety of security measures to ensure the security of your PII on our systems. Any sensitive information such as credit card numbers is protected by our Processor, PayPal, and through encryption using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Third parties may unlawfully attempt to intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
Individuals under 13 years of age.
Pursuant to the provisions of the 1998 Federal Dreamers’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), our policy is to refuse individuals 13 years of age or under to submit information to the Site or to use the Services. We therefore do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals 13 years of age or under.
Does DIF Use Cookies? We may use "cookies", both directly and through the Facebook API, to make the Site easier to use and to protect both you and the Site. Cookies are small pieces of data stored for an extended period of time on your computer, mobile phone or other device.
How do you OPT-OUT? You may opt-out at any time by changing your preferences as provided on your Facebook account. Also, with regards to any information otherwise provide to the Site, you can send a request to info@dreamitfoundation.org. We will comply with your requests as reasonably as we can. Please note that we require some PII for donation billing purposes. The above not withstanding, we may retain archived or cached copies of your PII.
Changes to this Policy. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes within this page so Users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Be sure to review our Privacy Policy and any other rules posted to the Site regularly so that you will be aware of any changes to them. Please remember that your continued use of this Site and your continued authorization of your Facebook account after changes or revisions have been made constitute your acceptance of such updates.
The above not withstanding, please be aware that the majority of the information collected through this Site is made available by your authorization of your Facebook account.
